M&S now producing hand sanitiser for medical facilities

MANN & SCHRÖDER COSMETICS has launched its production of large containers of hand sanitiser to help people fight the coronavirus. The hand sanitiser will be aimed solely at the commercial sector and will initially and primarily be supplied to local medical facilities like hospitals, retirement homes and nursing homes, and to other public bodies like the police and fire brigade.

“It is important in the current situation for us to stick together and guarantee the provision of health care. This can only succeed if we provide public institutions and medical professionals with sufficient hygiene products and disinfectants, such as hand sanitiser. We want to use our manufacturing facilities to help key workers and make a contribution to safeguarding society,” said Christine Steger, CEO of MANN & SCHRÖDER COSMETICS. The hand sanitiser is supplied in 25l canisters in order to make refilling disinfectant dispensers as easy as possible in the interests of sustainable practices.

A dedicated team at M&S COSMETICS is already busy contacting public bodies in the local area and asking about their requirements. It should be noted, however, that the products may only be supplied to commercial establishments. They may not be delivered to private individuals.
